Merry Christmas

This was Raice's first Christmas and the first time Paityn really got into it. She learned a lot about Santa last night. Instead of milk and cookies she left him milk and goldfish crackers since they were her favorite. She got 2 Christmas dresses and got herself dressed this morning without a fight which was a miracle.

Her face lit up each time she saw princess or mickey mouse stuff. Her favorite present, I think, would have to be her princess couch and her minnie mouse cup.

Raice tried opening the presents by slobbering on the wrapping paper. Needless to say he didn't get too far. He tried mashed potatoes for dinner tonight and isn't doing too well with baby food. He's crawling alot better now but its a funky crawl. Its a mix between an army crawl & a bunny hop if you can imagine that.

Both kids loved their gifts and had a great time spending it with family. Next year will be alot more exciting (because Raice will be more into it)

SNOW DAY

The one thing that hardly ever happens in Vegas is SNOW! We were lucky to be going to my friends house and drive through the winter wonderland.




Paityn only wanted to play in the snow. I bundled her up and out she went. For hours she wanted to play but she lasted only an hour.

Christmas Tree Hunting

We went with some friends to Caliente to go Christmas Tree hunting. Since we were invited, all we heard was "snowman mommy, build snowman with me." After we all got our trees and ate lunch she finally made her snowman.

She wanted to decorate her tree as soon as we got home. It leans a little but she doesn't care.

Random Things

Paityn has been learning alot these past couple of months and one of the things she has learned is her numbers 1-10. She thinks they go 1,2,3,4,5,8,10. She also thinks that she the ABC's are A,B,E,E,E. She is very stubborn at first but does come around to learning the real way they are.
Raice is getting to be quite the character. He is teething which is a painful thing for all of us. Everything goes in his mouth and he will roll or somehow get to something to put it in his mouth. He has started to take interest in crawling and will actually start to get on his knees and rock or just pull himself forward or scoot backwards. Its crazy to think that only two weeks ago he just started sitting by himself and now he wants to crawl.

Carnival

We went out to Pahrump for the Carnival with Sean's family. Paityn loved riding the rides by herself and watching the rodeo. Everytime she saw a horse she got really excited and would scream "Horse, Horse!!!!"

Halloween 08

Paityn has been obsessed with Micky Mouse for a couple months. When we went shopping for Halloween costumes she found Minnie Mouse and was stuck on it. She was able to wear her costume 7 times this year!! She really enjoyed trick or treating after she figured out that every house gave her candy.
Raice has started to sit up on his own. He only sits up for a little bit then falls over but laughs everytime he's sitting up.
